Veggie and Ham Roll
Here's a twist on a favourite sandwich. Make it with fresh Ontario vegetables tucked in the centre. To create a perfect lunch, include a fruit yogurt and an assortment of fruit cubes, such as Ontario apples, melon, pears and nectarines.

Ingredients:
- 1 medium whole wheat wrap or tortilla
- 1 slice of cheese (Havarti, Cheddar, or Mozzarella)
- Thin slice of deli meat (ham, chicken, or turkey)
- 2 4-inch (10 cm)long slices of Ontario Sweet Pepper (red, orange, yellow)
- 2 4-inch (10 cm) long thin slices of Ontario Carrot
- 2 4-inch (10 cm) long slices of Ontario Greenhouse Cucumbers
Preparation:
Place 1 medium whole-wheat wrap (tortilla) on work surface. Layer with slice of cheese (Havarti, Cheddar or mozzarella) and thin slice of deli meat (ham, chicken or turkey). Trim any ends larger than wrap. Place two 4-inch (10 cm) long, slices of Ontario Sweet Pepper (red, orange, yellow), two 4-inch (10 cm) long, thin slices of Ontario Carrot and two 4-inch (10 cm) long slices of Ontario Greenhouse Cucumbers along bottom of wrap. Roll up to enclose filling. Cut in half diagonally; pack in reusable container or wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap.
